Firefox search plugins


These are search plugins created for the Mozilla Firefox browser. They will allow you to search the listed websites directly from your Firefox search box.

Click the name of a plugin to install it. The plugins are offered as-is with no warranty of any kind.


Install ebay-seller - Searches eBay items by seller.

Install blogger-interests - Searches blogger.com user profiles by interests.

Install blogger-music - Searches blogger.com user profiles by favorite music.

Install blogger-movies - Searches blogger.com user profiles by favorite movies.

Install blogger-books - Searches blogger.com user profiles by favorite books.

Install photoblogs-keyword - Searches photoblogs.org by keyword.

Install photoblogs-name - Searches photoblogs.org by blog name/URL.

Install slcpl-title - Searches the Salt Lake City Public Library Catalog by title.

Install slcpl-author - Searches the Salt Lake City Public Library Catalog by author.

Install slcpl-subject - Searches the Salt Lake City Public Library Catalog by subject.

Install slcpl-call - Searches the Salt Lake City Public Library Catalog by call number.

Install uta-route - Searches rideuta.com (Utah Transit Authority) by route name or number.

Install LIF-Forum - Searches the Lagoonisfun.com forum.




Uninstall information

To uninstall one of these plugins:

1. Open the main Firefox installation folder (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox on most Windows machines).
2. Open the subfolder called "searchplugins"
3. Delete the files "plugin-name.src" and "plugin-name.png", where "plugin-name" is the name of the plugin you want to uninstall (see example below).
4. Restart Firefox

Example: To delete the uta-route plugin you would delete the files "uta_route.src" and "uta_route.png".
